Job Description

Alder Renewables is on a mission to replace fossil-based products and help rebalance our relationship with the planet. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hourly Research Assistant to support our research team. The candidate will assist in conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports and presentations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, has excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in gaining research experience.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management

  • Assist in data collection through lab experiments and chemical analyses.
  • Help manage and maintain research databases and records.
  • Conduct literature reviews and gather information from various sources.

Data Analysis

  • Support the interpretation of data and identification of trends.
  • Help draft research reports, summaries, and briefs.
  • Aid in the preparation of data visualizations to present findings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, chemistry). Higher level undergraduates will be considered as long as minimum hours can be met.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Previous research experience is a plus.
